About The Position

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is a family-owned independent Coca-Cola bottler that is the third largest privately-held and the sixth largest independent Coca-Cola bottler in the United States. Coke Florida is looking for a Vice President, Human Resources based out of our Tampa location. The Vice President of Human Resources is a strategic executive leader responsible for developing and executing human capital strategies that support the company’s growth, operational excellence, and culture at Coke Florida - a complex, multi-site manufacturing, sales, and distribution organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the SVP HR and Admin, ensuring alignment between business objectives and HR initiatives, while fostering a high-performance, compliant, and engaged workforce of both hourly and salaried employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5–7+ years at a senior/executive level
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, distribution, sales, and logistics
  • Experience supporting large, multi-site organizations (3,000+ employees preferred)
  • Demonstrated success aligning HR strategy with business performance in a growth-oriented company
  • Regular travel (20–40%) to manufacturing plants and distribution centers
  • Ability to operate effectively in both corporate and plant-floor environments

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide HR strategy aligned with business objectives, growth targets, and operational priorities.
  • Partner with SVP of HR to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Oversee talent acquisition strategies for corporate, manufacturing, logistics, distribution and sales functions, with emphasis on scalability and productivity.
  • Design and implement workforce planning models to ensure optimal staffing across production and distribution facilities.
  • Build leadership development and succession programs to strengthen internal talent pipelines.
  • Provide leadership in employee relations, addressing complex workforce issues across multiple locations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state (Florida), and local labor laws and industry regulations.
  • Partner with operations leaders to maintain positive employee relations.
  • Partner with legal team as needed to mitigate risk through proactive policies, investigations, and consistent HR practices.
  • Drive culture transformation initiatives that align with company values and performance expectations.
  • Lead engagement strategies, employee communications, and retention initiatives.
  • Establish metrics and programs that drive accountability, improve productivity, engagement, and workforce stability.
  • Oversee HR operations including HRIS, compliance, reporting, and shared services.
  • Implement and optimize HR technology solutions to improve efficiency, data analytics, and user experience.
  • Utilize HR analytics and KPIs to inform decision-making and organizational strategy.
  • Partner with operations and risk management teams to promote a strong culture of workplace safety.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EEOC, DOT and other regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee policies and programs that minimize risk and support employee well-being.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR leadership team across all HR functions.
  • Foster a collaborative, service-oriented HR function that supports business needs.
