About The Position

Mile Marker is seeking a Vice President, Growth & Sales Enablement for a newly created sales leadership position at its omnichannel agency. The role will optimize and systematize the agency’s demand engine, generate and manage new-logo pipeline, build outbound and partner channels, and work with subject matter experts to convert opportunities into wins. The VP will report to the EVP, Growth, partner with the Growth team, and carry an individual net-new revenue target. Its stated ideal clients spend $10 million or more in media and represent $1 million or more in net agency revenue. The agency has also expanded its performance creative capabilities through its acquisition of the Lift Agency. The VP will lead outbound sales strategy and execution, strengthen partner and referral channels, qualify opportunities, manage pipeline and sales-cycle performance, and maintain sales-enablement materials and Salesforce records. The role will coach junior growth-team members, foster a growth mindset across the company, coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams, represent revenue generation to executive leadership and, when asked, the board, and deliver first-year net-new logo revenue. • At least 5 years leading a selling team.
  • A track record of personally sourcing and closing agency or marketing-services engagements worth $1 million or more in annual net revenue from self-generated pipeline.
  • Ability to build a prospect or target list from scratch and personally manage the full nurture cycle, from cold outreach through mid-funnel advancement to closed-won.
  • At least 5 years personally carrying an individual sales quota, with demonstrated quota attainment.
  • Demonstrated experience building an outbound or channel track, rather than only operating within an established one, and ability to describe the pipeline it generated.
  • Experience developing a multi-account channel in which one relationship yields several clients.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage senior executives and write effective outreach.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous situations and selling a differentiated but still-maturing technology proposition.
  • Analytical fluency with pipeline data and Salesforce, including the ability to diagnose funnel problems.
  • Experience with outbound sales engagement or sequencing tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo.
  • Experience selling to and navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise buying committees.
  • Ability to build genuine internal relationships across a matrixed organization.
  • High personal accountability and ability to drive results with limited supervision.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to balance long-term channel development with short-term revenue delivery.
  • Willingness to be measured monthly by leadership and the board on pipeline created and revenue booked.

  • Conduct win/loss analysis and document the reasons for every pursuit’s outcome.
  • Partner with the CFO and senior Growth team on pricing, packaging, and compensation proposals.
  • Diversify lead sources, make lead generation measurable, reduce reliance on referrals, and grow pipeline.
  • Represent Mile Marker at prospecting events, industry conferences, portfolio roundtables, and CMO forums as needed, and be accountable for sourced opportunities.
  • Manage sales opportunities through stage-by-stage conversion, flag stalled opportunities, and report pipeline coverage and cost per pitch to the executive leadership team and board as necessary.
  • Work with Marketing and subject matter experts to deploy expertise and thought leadership across media, creative, data, and measurement for prospects.
  • Partner with the EVP, SVP, and Marketing to maintain the RFI/RFP library, credentials, pitch-ready case studies, vertical one-pagers, co-branded partner materials, and platform demos.
  • Use Salesforce as the single source of truth for pipeline, activity, and pitch history.
  • Manage, coach, and hold junior Growth team members accountable for systematized outbound efforts.
  • Promote a growth mindset across the company so employees think about creating demand as well as responding to it.
  • Publish and enforce a stage-ownership model that makes pursuit accountability visible internally and to the board biweekly.
