About The Position

Reporting to Cabot’s Chief Financial Officer, the VP, Global Real Estate Sales is a key member of the Cabot team working to deliver on the brand’s mission to “Create Magical Places.”. The VP, Global Real Estate Sales is responsible for driving sales performance of Cabot’s luxury real estate properties through strategic pipeline optimization, hands-on coaching, and team leadership rooted in accountability and collaboration. The position also plays a key role in shaping inventory strategy, aligning product offerings with market demand, and bringing forward competitive insights to inform pricing, positioning, and sales tactics. A strong focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and talent development is essential to success. Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity and 2+ years in the luxury segment
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing sales teams
  • A strong record of driving revenue growth across multiple markets, customer segments and pricing segments
  • Demonstrated success in building and executing innovative go-to-market sales strategies
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling and client experience best practices
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and a bias for action
  • Experience leveraging CRM systems to drive results

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity and interest in the golf and hospitality industries is an asset.
  • Real estate and high-end professional services industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work with individual sales professionals to solve problems and optimize the sales funnel. Understand where the opportunities are, work with team members to remove obstacles and employ different sales tactics and strategies to increase overall conversion.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets in a culture built on collaboration and accountability.
  • Introduce sales strategies and tactics, as appropriate, to improve individual team members conversion rates.
  • Dive into specific deals, conceive of specific drivers and coach salespeople to close the sale.
  • Implement performance management strategies, where appropriate, to help each salesperson reach their full potential.
  • Work alongside the sales and marketing teams to manage active inventory, coming up with new and innovative ways to highlight for-sale properties and shorten the timeline to closing.
  • Work with management and development teams to advocate for new products and price points, as driven by market interest and intel.
  • Bring industry trends and innovations to the Cabot management team, as well as to the global sales team.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and identify areas of opportunity for Cabot in product and pricing mix and sales and marketing strategy.
