About The Position

Visa is seeking a VP of People Solutions Team to provide leadership and support for their transformation journey. This role will design and execute best-in-class People strategies, systems, and structures to drive successful outcomes across Visa’s Go-to-Market activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, relationship-building, execution focus, problem-solving skills, and the ability to inspire teams through change. This position requires a leader who drives accountability and has a successful track record in process transformation, working alongside transformation and accelerator teams to achieve results. The main responsibility is to lead Visa’s People Solutions (HR Shared Services) function and transform the solutions delivery team into a world-class organization that delivers value through an integrated, global shared services environment. This role manages teams across multiple regions, collaborating with People Centers of Excellence (COEs), People Business Partners (PBPs), technology teams, and other Visa groups to develop and execute strategic and operational service delivery plans. The leader will drive service excellence, innovative solutions, and the transformation of the overall People Solutions support model, expanding services for a more holistic employee experience and enabling PBPs and COEs to focus on the strategic talent agenda. This includes designing and implementing an enhanced shared services delivery model, onboarding new internal teams, and partnering with Visa teams to enable greater self-service, process reengineering, process harmonization, and organization design.

Requirements

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in People Shared Services Innovation and Optimization.
  • Proven ability to set and execute large, transformation-focused programs against defined strategic objectives.
  • Proven ability to make judgment calls and sound, ethical decisions displaying a heightened level of responsibility, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Strong and engaging people leader that can build robust teams and build talent bench.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a client-focused environment and mindset to ensure delivery of an exceptional employee experience.
  • Lead a team of seasoned strategic leaders and subject matter experts responsible for providing innovative world-class People support to Visa people globally.
  • Lead the People Solutions Transformation – a large, global project with impacts across the People function, serving as the overall project leader.
  • Drive the integration across 3 key workstreams: People Systems, People Solutions Evolution, and Manager Consultation.
  • Design the People Solutions function of the future, aiming for 45% deflection of current case volume via self-service, 80% of cases accurately resolved upon first contact, and an average case resolution time of less than 2 business days.
  • Build the resource plan to support the future People Solutions vision, balancing a centralized hub with local knowledge, and determining the right resource mix and locations for a “hub-and-spoke” model.
  • Develop the framework for identifying and evaluating work that can transition to People Solutions, oversee comprehensive process documentation, and ensure the team has the right skills, knowledge, mindsets, behaviors, and capability to deliver.
  • Build an effective quality assurance program and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop deep partnerships with Regional and Functional PBPs and COE leaders.
  • Develop comprehensive operational plans and strategy to support business growth and maintain optimal volume throughput, cost control, operations efficiency, and quality.
  • Implement uniform best practices while maintaining compliance.
  • Systematically cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with managers of the organization to achieve mutual goals.
  • Maintain and foster a high level of teamwork, hire and mentor best in class.
  • Develop and implement plans and research projects to improve and expand operational growth and financial profitability.
  • Oversee and adjust processes and operations as necessary to ensure efficient and effective execution of policies and procedures.
