About The Position

Majesco is seeking a Vice President, Global Cloud Operations (GCO) to provide senior leadership across our global cloud and SaaS operations, including Cloud Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering and DevOps. Reporting to the SVP, Global Cloud Operations, you will help shape GCO strategy, translate that strategy into an effective operating model, and lead execution across the capabilities that enable Majesco to deliver reliable, secure, scalable and cost-effective SaaS services to insurance customers globally. Majesco Global Cloud Operations is a strategic part of the company’s SaaS delivery model, supporting reliable, secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud services across Majesco products and customers. As Vice President, Global Cloud Operations, you will help shape the strategic direction of GCO and own the operational execution and continued advancement of its capabilities. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Information Security, Delivery, Finance and other business functions to ensure Majesco’s cloud platforms and SaaS services meet customer commitments and business objectives. This role requires a senior technology and operations leader who combines strong organizational leadership with technical credibility, operational discipline and the ability to drive execution across a complex, global SaaS environment.

Requirements

• Typically 15 plus years of experience across technology, cloud infrastructure, cloud operations, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps or related disciplines, including significant leadership responsibility in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale cloud and SaaS operations in complex, global environments with demanding availability, security, scalability and customer requirements, including leadership across globally distributed technical teams.
• Strong experience with one or more major public cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Microsoft Azure, combined with practical knowledge of cloud-native architecture and modern operational practices such as infrastructure as code, container platforms/Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, automation, reliability engineering and cloud security.
• Demonstrated ability to use operational and business metrics to improve reliability, service performance, operational efficiency and cloud cost, with experience in cloud financial management, FinOps, vendor management and optimization of cloud consumption and commitments.
• A strong track record of leading and developing senior technical leaders and working effectively across Product, Engineering, Information Security, Delivery, Finance and customer-facing organizations in multiple countries, cultures and time zones.
• Strong executive communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical and operational topics clearly to senior leaders and customers while maintaining a strong orientation toward accountability and execution.

• Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in engineering, computer science or a related discipline preferred.
• An advanced degree or equivalent relevant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate GCO strategy into operational execution.
• Partner with the SVP, Global Cloud Operations to help shape GCO strategy and translate priorities into an effective operating model, roadmap and execution plan across Cloud Operations, SRE, Platform Engineering and DevOps.
• Advance cloud reliability, scalability and engineering practices.
• Drive continued improvement across automation, observability, infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD, deployment practices and cloud-native operating models.
• Define, monitor and improve service-level objectives (SLOs), customer SLAs and operational KPIs across availability, reliability, performance, incident response, change management and cost efficiency.
• Strengthen operational resilience and SaaS service performance.
• Provide leadership across incident, problem, change, capacity, knowledge, business continuity and disaster recovery practices, including periodic validation of recovery capabilities and objectives.
• Partner across Product, Engineering and Security.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, supportability, security controls and compliance requirements are incorporated into product and platform strategies.
• Advance Platform Engineering and DevOps practices that enable consistent, efficient and scalable infrastructure and application delivery across Majesco products.
• Lead cloud economics and strategic partnerships.
• Drive cloud financial management and FinOps practices, including forecasting, consumption optimization, cloud commitments, vendor management and cost transparency.
• Maintain strong relationships with strategic cloud and technology partners and ensure Majesco effectively leverages evolving cloud capabilities and industry practices.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global organization.
• Strengthen leadership capability, technical expertise, accountability, collaboration and succession planning across globally distributed teams.
• Maintain meaningful reporting on service performance, reliability, cloud economics and operational effectiveness, and engage with customers and senior stakeholders on cloud operations, service performance and strategic initiatives.
