About The Position

Shur-Co, LLC is seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Vice President & General Manager to lead its Agriculture, Flatbed, Construction, and Waste business segments. This role serves as the full business owner, with end-to-end accountability for driving accelerated growth, expanding margins, and delivering long-term enterprise value. The VP & General Manager will define and execute a value creation strategy aligned with executive leadership and private equity objectives. This leader will partner closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to drive market expansion, product innovation, operational efficiency, and commercial excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong performance mindset, thrives in a fast-paced and high-expectation environment, and has a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams while directly owning outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including senior executive roles
  • Proven success in a senior leadership role (GM, VP, or equivalent) with full P&L ownership
  • Strong background in manufacturing, industrial, or engineered products environments
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational performance improvements
  • Experience operating in or partnering with private equity-backed organizations preferred
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, account segmentation, and value-based selling
  • Experience managing rep firms, channel partners, and key customer relationships
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable business decisions
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the business owner with full P&L accountability, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and cash flow performance
  • Lead and execute a clear value creation plan aligned with company and private equity objectives
  • Develop and implement aggressive go-to-market strategies to accelerate growth and increase market share
  • Drive pricing discipline and margin improvement through data-driven insights and commercial rigor
  • Own and optimize the product portfolio, including roadmap development, SKU rationalization, and lifecycle management
  • Partner with Engineering to accelerate innovation while ensuring strong ROI on product investments
  • Align product strategy with customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning
  • Partner with Operations to simplify product design, reduce complexity, and drive cost-out initiatives
  • Improve productivity, throughput, and scalability across manufacturing and distribution
  • Ensure operational alignment to support growth and profitability targets
  • Lead customer insights and market intelligence efforts to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages
  • Oversee Marketing to strengthen brand positioning, demand generation, and channel effectiveness
  • Own the end-to-end customer experience, including Customer Service performance and continuous improvement
  • Drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure consistent execution
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring accountability across cross-functional teams
  • Drive a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team aligned with Shurco’s values and results-driven culture
  • Remove barriers and drive execution within a matrixed, multi-site organization
