Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer
About The Position
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Liquidity and Financing Engineering team. In this role, you’ll make an impact by leading the design, development, and deployment of high-quality, scalable, and resilient applications using Java, Angular, python, and SQL. You will collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). You will participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our technology platforms. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to technology and risk management. You will support the integration of AI and emerging technologies to enhance client and employee experiences. You will demonstrate teamwork and promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment aligned with our company culture and values.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- 5 plus years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong CS fundamentals with problem solving analysis, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Highly motivated and self-starter
- Experience building distributed high-performance, high-availability systems
- Hands on experience in Core Java & J2EE skills, PL/SQL, python
- Fundamental understanding of RDBMS and database design applications
Nice To Haves
- Experience with RESTFul webservices, Tomcat, Apache, Unix Script are a plus
- Experience with working in Finance is preferred
