FORUM Credit Union is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Fraud Strategy & Operations to lead our enterprise fraud prevention, detection, investigation, response, and recovery efforts. In this executive leadership role, you will oversee the development and execution of FORUM's fraud risk management strategy while advancing our Fraud Fusion Center vision. By leveraging technology, analytics, intelligence-driven practices, and cross-functional collaboration, you will help protect our members and the organization from financial loss while maintaining an exceptional member experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Criminal Justice, Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field
Leadership experience in fraud prevention, fraud operations, financial crimes, information security, risk management, or related disciplines
Demonstrated experience developing and leading enterprise fraud strategy within a financial institution
Strong knowledge of payment systems, digital banking platforms, fraud detection technologies, and fraud investigation practices
Experience building teams, leading organizational strategy, and driving large-scale transformational initiatives
Strong strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of FORUM's Fraud Fusion Center, integrating fraud intelligence, investigations, alert management, recovery efforts, and rapid response capabilities into a coordinated enterprise framework
Develop and execute enterprise fraud risk management strategies across all member and operational channels, ensuring effective prevention, detection, mitigation, investigation, and recovery efforts
Build, develop, and lead a high-performing fraud organization through workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and professional development initiatives
Direct fraud operations and oversight of fraud risks related to cards, checks, account takeover, deposits, digital banking, ACH, wires, peer-to-peer payments, and emerging fraud threats
Leverage analytics, machine learning, threat intelligence, and industry partnerships to proactively identify and mitigate evolving fraud risks
Partner with Information Security, Technology, Risk Management, Compliance, BSA/AML, Retail Delivery, Member Services, and other business units to create a coordinated enterprise-wide fraud management strategy
Provide strategic oversight of fraud monitoring, controls, and risk mitigation capabilities across digital and operational platforms while maintaining a positive member experience
Establish key risk indicators, fraud loss metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure program effectiveness and provide insights to executive leadership and the Board of Directors
Lead significant fraud investigations, enterprise fraud incidents, and member-impact events, ensuring timely response, regulatory compliance, and recovery efforts
Serve as FORUM's senior fraud subject matter expert, advising executive leadership on fraud trends, emerging technologies, organizational preparedness, and industry best practices
