About The Position

The Vice President, Finance, USIS Technology serves as the strategic finance leader for the Technology organization within US Information Solutions (USIS). This pivotal role partners closely with executive business leaders to deliver concise, relevant, and insightful financial information that enables informed decision-making and ensures the achievement of short- and long-term strategic and financial objectives. Reporting directly to the SFO, USIS, this leader builds and maintains highly collaborative, advisory relationships across USIS and the broader Equifax enterprise.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive corporate finance experience, with a proven track record in leadership or officer-level roles.
  • 4+ years of dedicated financial experience directly supporting a complex Technology or Engineering organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing sizable operating and capital budgets (ideally $100M+).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working within a global Financial Services, FinTech, Data Analytics, or Technology-as-a-Service organization.
  • Deep familiarity with Cloud-based technology migrations, Equifax Cloud frameworks, or specialized FinOps optimization strategies.
  • Experience driving enterprise efficiencies using platforms like Oracle Cloud, Oracle SaaS Fusion, Hyperion, or Tableau.
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA designation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Segment Finance Officer (SFO) for the USIS Technology organization, directing the financial management of a $400 million annual spend.
  • Provide proactive financial partnership to the USIS Technology and Product leadership teams to identify business issues, leverage data-driven insights, support timely decision-making, and personally drive execution on key initiatives.
  • Oversee financial reporting optimization projects to mature daily and monthly reporting streams, specifically targeting Capitalization, Cloud infrastructure spend, People expenses, Software/Hardware, and Depreciation.
  • Direct the preparation, reporting, and analysis of financial data, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly result analyses, while spearheading continuous process improvements.
  • Prepare concise executive summaries and lead monthly financial reviews with business unit leadership to highlight key trends, performance variances, strengths, and risks, establishing actionable response plans.
  • Formulate annual budgets aligned with shifting market conditions, key business drivers, and corporate strategic initiatives, effectively balancing realistic forecasting with healthy stretch objectives.
  • Identify, recruit, develop, and retain a world-class, diverse team of finance managers and professionals, fostering an inclusive environment focused on career advancement.
