About The Position

The Vice President, Finance leads key finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, profitability analysis, pricing support, investment portfolio support, and asset-liability management. This role partners closely with the CFO and leadership team to provide financial insights that support decision-making, organizational performance, and long-term financial strength. The Vice President, Finance also manages the relationship with SESLOC's asset-liability management partner and helps ensure effective interest rate risk modeling, financial planning, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Eight to ten years of accounting and/or finance experience, preferably within a credit union or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Experience interpreting financial data and providing recommendations to support business decisions.
• Understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across all levels of the organization.
• Sound judgment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering accurate, meaningful financial information that helps drive business decisions.
• Successful completion and acceptable results of background checks (bond check, credit check, criminal history check, reference checks).
• Signing an Arbitration Agreement as a condition of employment.
