Crisis24Boca Raton, FL

About The Position

As Vice President, Finance for the Private Strategic Group (PSG), you will be the senior finance leader for one of Crisis24's most dynamic, client-facing businesses. Reporting to Crisis24’s Senior Vice President, Finance, you will own PSG's financial strategy, reporting and day-to-day finance operations, lead and develop a high-performing finance team, and act as a trusted financial partner to PSG leadership and to some of the world's most prominent clients. You will combine technical rigor with strong commercial and stakeholder instincts, operating with the discretion and executive presence the role demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, MBA or an equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.
  • Extensive, progressive finance leadership experience (typically 10+ years), including experience leading and developing a finance team at senior manager, director, or VP level.
  • Proven track record as a senior finance business partner in a services, security, project-based or otherwise client-driven business; direct experience supporting client-facing commercial activity (pricing, RFPs, QBRs) strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and a solid grasp of financial reporting, internal controls and compliance (US GAAP; exposure to IFRS an advantage given the global scope).
  • Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle finance operations, including billing, contract management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and cash management.
  • Experience operating within a multi-entity, international group and partnering effectively with a parent-company and shared-services structure is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and executive-presence skills, with the confidence to engage senior leadership and high-profile clients directly.
  • A high degree of discretion, sound judgement and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PSG's financial strategy in alignment with overall company goals; partner with the SVP, Finance and senior leadership to set financial plans, budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of PSG financial reports — ensuring accuracy, completeness and regulatory compliance — and provide the insight and recommendations that support key business decisions.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets, identify financial risks and opportunities, lead corrective actions to improve results and drive accountability throughout the organization using financial metrics.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to operational leaders, influence key business decisions through financial analysis and commercial insight, and support operations on contract profitability, productivity initiatives, labor optimization, and cost management.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to PSG leadership and collaborate across functions to keep finance aligned with broader company objectives.
  • Identify and assess financial risks and implement mitigations; ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the PSG finance team, drive professional development, and ensure the team is equipped to support the group's evolving needs.
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations — accounting, billing, contract management, accounts payable, payroll, general administration, budgeting and cash management — and continuously streamline and optimize financial processes.
  • Serve as a primary finance point of contact for key clients — participating in client onboarding, client meetings and quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and supporting plans for at-risk clients. PSG clients place a high value on direct access to a senior finance leader (a responsive, white-glove approach). Assist in preparing QBRs, forecasts and estimate-to-actual analyses to help clients manage their budgets effectively, and enable fast decision-making on time-sensitive client requests, including material client expenses.
  • Actively support pricing decisions, particularly on large RFPs, and help negotiate and present pricing to clients — adopting a firm or supportive stance as the negotiation requires.
