About The Position

Vice President, External Product Specialists with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Conduct quantitative financial analyses and assess complex portfolio solutions to a diverse set of institutional clients. Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data of public or private institutions, including valuation of businesses. Advise clients on Securitized market updates and portfolio reviews; articulate latest market insights and investment strategies to clients. Conduct financial analysis on portfolios on a regular basis to optimize asset allocation for clients, ensure alignment with latest investment views and consistent with client objectives. Collaborate on trading activity relating to client funding, transfers, withdrawals, account changes. Advise clients on Securitized product offerings, including separate account solutions and mutual funds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business: Accounting, or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • Five (5) years with fixed income Securitized asset classes.
  • Five (5) years with institutional clients, including Bank Owned Life Insurance clients.
  • Five (5) years manipulating large datasets including economics data, financial data, portfolio management data.
  • Five (5) years with fixed income and securitized bonds.
  • Five (5) years with securitized assets including mortgages, asset backed securities, and collateralized loan obligations.
  • Five (5) years working with large data sets, data analysis, and data transformation.
  • Five (5) years in portfolio construction – experience in portfolio construction to help build portfolios from bottom up and top down risks.
