About The Position

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an experienced and strategic analytics leader to establish and scale its enterprise analytics capability. The Vice President of Enterprise Analytics will design and lead the frameworks, processes, and tools that unify data across the organization, transforming insights into actionable strategies. This role will engage in customer insights, store performance analytics, competitive intelligence, and macroeconomic trend analysis to enhance Sprouts’ ability to deliver on its mission of healthy living for all.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or strategy—ideally within grocery, retail, or consumer industries.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling analytics functions, including team development, process design, and tool implementation.
  • Strong technical expertise in analytics and visualization technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake).
  • Demonstrated success translating insights into business outcomes and influencing executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and storytelling skills; able to connect analytical depth with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Build, recommend and lead Sprouts’ enterprise analytics organization from inception — defining the operating model, structure, and technology stack, with the most senior executives.
  • Develop and execute the enterprise analytics roadmap to enable data-driven decision-making across all functions.
  • Lead and influence customer and shopper insights programs to inform strategy around loyalty, spending, traffic, and basket size trends, as well as marketing effectiveness.
  • Lead store-level and market trade area, site-specific analytics to drive performance optimization and strategy recommendations.
  • Conduct competitive and marketplace analytics to monitor consumer shifts, category trends, and channel evolution providing clear synthesis of findings.
  • Integrate and report on macroeconomic data and external indicators into forecasting, planning, and long-range strategic modeling.
  • Partner with Finance, Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing leaders to embed analytics into everyday business decisions.
  • Champion enterprise data governance and ensure quality, accessibility, and adoption of analytic tools and insights.
  • Present analytical findings and strategic implications to executive leadership, enabling clear and actionable decision making.
