About The Position

Join Mastercard's dynamic Strategy and Execution team, focusing on Commercial and New Payment flows, including payments made and received by small businesses, large corporations, and money movement transactions (e.g., P2P) via Mastercard Move capabilities. The team aims to connect and power an inclusive, digital economy by making transactions safe, simple, smart, and accessible through secure data, networks, partnerships, and innovation. This role involves partnering with business leaders within Commercial and New Payment Flows (CNPF) to design, evaluate, and advance their strategies, with a strong emphasis on in-market delivery and implementation.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in strategy consulting or developing go-to-market strategies for payments.
  • Extensive experience of translating strategies to execution plans, driving end to end execution – particularly in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong understanding of Mastercard's products, services, and key revenue drivers, as well as the larger payment industry.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical and solutions-oriented with the ability to drive thought leadership in commercial payments & money movement

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the CNPF’s overall strategy through thought leadership and creativity.
  • Build strong, cross-functional alignment with key stakeholders across MA (e.g., Core Payments, Services, regional leadership and other function groups etc. ) to drive execution
  • Identify, structure, and prioritize cross-functional initiatives (e.g., secular shift opportunities, market-level execution plans, key product priorities, etc.) to generate actionable recommendations.
  • Apply strategic and analytical rigor to product and regional strategies, acting as a thought partner
  • Maintain knowledge of the commercial and money movement landscape and market trends to develop innovative solutions and product strategies.
  • Share learnings and insights with Divisional Presidents, Country Managers, and other key stakeholders, where relevant.
  • Management of cross functional teams to drive outputs and deliverables.
