Vice President, IT Infrastructure
About The Position

As Vice President of Enterprise AI, you will accelerate the translation of enterprise AI strategy into production at scale, ensuring predictable, repeatable delivery of AI capabilities across the company. Reporting to the SVP of AI & Data, this role is accountable for operationalizing Dell’s enterprise AI strategy, running the enterprise AI delivery engine, and enabling consistent, secure, and scalable AI execution across IT and business units. You will serve as the single execution spine for enterprise AI, orchestrating delivery across IT, Data, Security, Legal, Services, and business units to reduce fragmentation, increase reuse, and drive measurable business outcomes. This is a highly visible executive leadership role focused on speed, scale, delivery discipline, and value realization, while ensuring AI solutions are secure, compliant, and production-ready by default.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in technology, data, or AI leadership roles
- Proven track record of scaling enterprise AI initiatives from strategy to production in large, complex organizations
- Deep expertise in AI/ML platforms, data ecosystems, MLOps, and model lifecycle management
- Strong experience leading cross-functional, matrixed execution across technology, risk, and business teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, delivery discipline, and measurable outcomes at scale
- Experience embedding responsible, secure, and compliant AI practices into production environments
- Business-oriented mindset with a focus on value realization, speed, and scalability
- Exceptional communication and executive influence skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Translate enterprise AI strategy and priorities into a sequenced, executable delivery roadmap, ensuring initiatives move efficiently from concept to production
- Own and operate the enterprise AI delivery engine, including platforms, tooling, MLOps, and standardized lifecycle practices
- Drive end-to-end execution of AI initiatives, ensuring predictable delivery, scalability, and high-quality outcomes
- Orchestrate execution across IT, Data, Security, Legal, Services, and business units, managing dependencies and removing barriers to delivery
- Establish a unified operating model to reduce fragmentation, duplication, and ad hoc AI implementations across the enterprise
- Embed security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI guardrails directly into delivery workflows
- Ensure AI solutions are production-ready by default, meeting enterprise standards without slowing speed of delivery
- Drive reuse of data, models, and components to increase efficiency and scale across use cases
- Define and track clear metrics for delivery performance and business impact, including speed, adoption, and value realization
- Provide real-time visibility into execution progress, risks, and tradeoffs to support faster, higher-quality executive decisions
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external partners to accelerate enterprise AI capabilities
