The position owns systems supporting commerce, customer service, supply chain, finance, and revenue, as well as their underlying data and infrastructure, while maintaining a strong public-company security posture. The Vice President will lead an organization of roughly 150 people across AI, applications, data, infrastructure, security, and architecture. The role also oversees IT infrastructure and operations, investment planning, vendor and outsourcing relationships, and measurement of technology impact through business outcomes. The position can be based in Boston, Massachusetts, or Santa Barbara, California. The role requires 15 or more years of progressive technology leadership, substantial experience building or leading software, platform, or enterprise engineering organizations, and personal accountability for AI-enabled transformation that reached production and delivered measurable results. The leader must be able to oversee a broad enterprise technology portfolio through senior functional leaders, lead global distributed teams, and communicate complex technology topics as clear business decisions. Cybersecurity and risk fluency are required to oversee public-company controls and obligations, including SOX controls and SEC-related readiness. The base salary range is $262,000 to $326,900, depending on location, qualifications, and experience. The posting states that compensation details reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. U.S. regular full-time employees are eligible for benefits from day one. Sonos cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role; applicants must be authorized to work in the country of the role posting now and in the future.
