Vice President, Directed Share Programs (DSP) Execution Specialist
About The Position
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President to join the Integrated PO Solutions team as a DSP Execution Specialist. This individual will assist with the execution and administration of Directed Share Programs for the Firm's Investment Banking clients while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to deliver an exceptional client experience throughout the IPO process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, execution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment. This role offers significant exposure to high-profile IPOs, senior corporate executives, and cross-functional leadership across the Firm.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Equity Capital Markets, or related financial services roles
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions and deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior corporate clients and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively across multiple business units
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting IPOs, equity offerings, capital markets transactions, or corporate client relationships strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end execution of DSPs for Investment Banking clients through the IPO lifecycle
- Participate in client meetings and IPO pitches, documenting key discussion points and driving follow-up actions
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for issuers throughout the planning and execution of their DSPs
- Coordinate across Legal, Compliance, Operations, Service Center, Wealth Management Technology, and other internal partners to ensure successful program execution and best-in-class client experience
- Partner with Technology to support DSP platform enhancements, functionality, and issue resolution
- Maintain reporting databases, client records, and relationship management systems
- Develop client presentations, marketing materials, and executive reporting
- Support audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements
