About The Position

The Global Corporate Actions team operates across Edinburgh (United Kingdom), Wilmington (United States), Gurgaon (India), and Singapore (Asia-Pacific) as a unified organization focused on delivering high-quality corporate action services through consistent governance, controls, and risk management practices. The team follows a mature global operating model that enables effective workload transition across regions, providing continuous support to the firm and its clients. Within this organization, the Entitlements team is responsible for validating corporate action events and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of cash and stock entitlements. As a Vice President within Corporate Actions, you will provide leadership for the Entitlements team while supporting broader Corporate Actions functions. You will play a key role in strengthening operational oversight, enhancing risk management practices, and driving process improvements that increase efficiency and scalability. The role requires close partnership with internal stakeholders, service providers, custodians, and clients to ensure accurate event execution and high-quality client experience. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives that support operational excellence and continuous improvement across the global organization.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in a Corporate Actions leadership role with a strong understanding of financial markets and investment management.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of investment operations and corporate action processing.
  • Experience developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver major projects and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of risk, controls, and escalation practices within a corporate action’s environment.

  • General understanding of securities lending and its impact on the corporate action lifecycle preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of team processes and controls while providing management oversight of daily production activities.
  • Lead operational issue escalation, ensuring risk is controlled and communication is completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee reconciliation activities and ensure discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
  • Develop reporting, metrics, and governance frameworks that support service quality and partner accountability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders while supporting regional management activities.
  • Drive local, regional, and global initiatives while identifying automation and efficiency opportunities that create a scalable operating model.
  • Develop team performance and maintain awareness of industry changes affecting Corporate Actions and investment operations.
  • Apply sound judgement and critical thinking to solve complex problems, adapt as the business evolves, and embrace the curiosity to explore new approaches and technologies while challenging outcomes.
