Vice President, Consulting

ParivedaDallas, TX
$302,200 - $324,900Hybrid

About The Position

Pariveda is seeking a Vice President, Consulting, with a proven track record of selling and delivering through a Partner network in Dallas. In this role, you will focus primarily on AWS Sales & Delivery for our Dallas office, with additional partnership opportunities across Microsoft, GCP, Databricks, and Anthropic. You will be expected to win and deliver complex cloud, data, and AI engagements — with AWS as your anchor platform — and leverage that delivery credibility to deepen partner relationships, strengthen Pariveda's standing with AWS, and unlock new opportunities in the Dallas market. As a member of the Dallas leadership team, you will play an integral role in growing our Dallas office. You are an experienced technology consulting leader who has led both sides of the engagement — winning it and delivering it — with deep AWS expertise and working knowledge of adjacent partners like Microsoft, GCP, Databricks, and Anthropic. Pariveda has been an AWS Premier Consulting Partner since 2015 and ranks in the top 1% of AWS partners worldwide. This role builds on that foundation while staying open to the broader cloud, data, and AI ecosystem where client needs demand it.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technology consulting experience leading consultative sales and delivery across IT strategy, custom development, cloud migrations, data platforms, analytics, AI/ML, and platform modernization.
  • Strong track record of new client development and closing multi-phase cloud, data, and AI transformation engagements.
  • Significant recent experience in major cloud, data, and AI partner ecosystems, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Anthropic, or similar, with demonstrated success building partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, leading joint account planning, using marketplace and co-sell mechanisms, and creating partner-packaged solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility with partner field sellers, solution architects, partner development managers, and alliance leaders, and translate that credibility into sourced and influenced pipeline.
  • A well-established network of client and partner relationships in the Dallas market, with the executive presence to build trust with C-level client executives and partner leaders.
  • Experience leading complex client engagements involving multiple teams, partner organizations, and vendors, including project planning, execution, risk management, and resource management.
  • Strong fluency across the software development life cycle, modern cloud-native architectures, data platforms, and AI/ML delivery patterns.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills, with a methodical, servant-leader approach to developing people and delivering results.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or comparable experience.
  • Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and close your own pipeline by developing client relationships and identifying cloud, data, and AI opportunities through direct consultative sales, referrals, and selective co-sell plays — primarily through AWS, with optionality across Microsoft, GCP, Databricks, Anthropic, and similar partners where they create the highest Dallas growth leverage.
  • Own and grow strategic accounts where your technical credibility and cloud expertise can create material impact, while collaborating with existing account teams to expand current clients through modern cloud, data, and AI solutions.
  • Lead or sponsor high-impact engagements from estimation through delivery, ensuring quality across strategy, architecture, implementation, and change enablement — this is a hands-on leadership role.
  • Diagnose complex business and technology problems, uncover unknown and unmet client needs, and design solutions that pair Pariveda's expertise with partner capabilities to deliver executive-level business outcomes.
  • Engage AWS field teams — field sellers, solution architects, and partner development managers — as a credible delivery peer, using that relationship to generate co-sell opportunities and leverage AWS programs, funding, and marketplace mechanisms (including MAP, ISV Accelerate, and co-sell motions) to accelerate deals and reduce client buying friction. Apply similar engagement models with other partner ecosystems where relevant.
  • Shape Dallas's cloud, data, and AI go-to-market strategy in partnership with industry leaders and business unit leadership, prioritizing the highest-leverage partner opportunities in the first 12 months.
  • Develop cloud talent on your team — mentoring Principals, senior managers, and architects with clear expectations, development goals, and regular feedback; supporting certification paths and technical depth across AWS and adjacent platforms; and sponsoring the next generation of practitioners for advancement.
  • Partner with the Alliances & Partnerships organization to support and deepen Pariveda's relationships across AWS and other strategic partners, particularly at the field and account level where delivery reputation matters most.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across client executives and partner teams in the Dallas market.
  • Actively engage and represent our culture through continuous learning, personal and professional development, community service, and team building.
  • Operate within a hybrid model, with time both in the office and at home, and offer clearly defined expectations, mentorship, and opportunities for increased responsibility and impact.
