Job Summary:The Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Operations provides executive leadership for all commercial support functions outside of the field sales organization. Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial, with a dotted-line relationship to the CEO, this role leads Commercial Operations, Market Access, Patient Operations, Commercial Excellence, Analytics, Sales Operations, Contracting, Pricing Governance, Forecasting, and Commercial Technology to enable profitable growth and exceptional patient access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of commercial leadership within biotechnology, specialty pharmaceuticals, or oncology.
  • Executive experience leading Commercial Operations, Market Access, Sales Operations, Patient Services, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated experience with GPOs, IDNs, commercial contracting, reimbursement strategy, pricing governance, forecasting, CRM, and analytics.
  • Strong executive communication and Board-level presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial strategy execution and operational excellence.
  • Provide leadership for the Executive Director, Commercial Operations & Chief of Staff and the National Director, Market Access.
  • Oversee Commercial Operations, Patient Operations, Commercial Analytics, Sales Operations, CRM, Forecasting, Incentive Compensation, Business Planning, and Commercial Excellence.
  • Lead market access strategy including GPO, IDN, health system and commercial contracting.
  • Partner with Finance on pricing governance, gross-to-net strategy, and commercial budgeting.
  • Oversee reimbursement strategy.
  • Develop executive dashboards, forecasting, KPIs, and performance analytics.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, HR, Manufacturing and Executive Leadership.
  • Drive commercial transformation initiatives and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop high-performing leaders and succession plans.
