Vice President, Commercial Private Credit - South Florida

Libertas Funding is an institutional-quality private credit firm headquartered in Greenwich, CT, providing growth capital, revenue-based financing, and working capital solutions to established small and medium-sized businesses nationwide. The VP of Commercial Private Credit will engage in credit origination and structuring across South Florida, specifically Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. This production role is responsible for independently managing their own pipeline and growing a high performing credit origination platform by leveraging direct sales channels consisting of deep relationships with business owners, C-Suite executives and strategic partners to deliver customized financing solutions to lower and middle-market companies (typically $10M–$150M in revenue).
Requirements
- 5+ years in commercial lending or private credit.
- Self-motivated with the ability to self-source opportunities in assigned market channel.
- Strong and proven track record of deal origination and execution.
- Deep understanding of the financial markets and alternative financing.
- Strong written and oral communications skills required.
- Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.
- Strong South Florida market network.

Responsibilities
- Source, originate, and structure commercial private credit transactions.
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual funding targets.
- Build relationships with companies, financial sponsors and strategic advisors.
- Execute Southeast Commercial Private Credit Playbook.
- Establish Libertas as a leading private credit provider in the region.
- Oversee full deal lifecycle.
- Partner with underwriting and risk teams.
- Partner with senior leadership on growth initiatives.
- Independently manage and consistently meet your funding targets and goals.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
