About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Vice President of Clinical Excellence oversees quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical outcomes strategy across the Ambulatory Division, defining care standards, driving innovation, and fostering a learning culture. Responsible for clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing budgets, and leading interdisciplinary teams.

  • Grievance management
  • Quality Data (MIPS, PHP, etc.)
  • OPPE Program Management
  • Peer Review Facilitator
  • Environmental Risk Assessment
  • Environment of Care Event Review
  • Emergency Preparedness
  • New/Department Specific Orientation
  • Competency Validation
  • Policy and Procedures
  • New Site Activations
  • Instrument/Equipment Sterilization and Processing
  • CLIA/POCT
  • Equipment Tracking
  • Billing Optimizations
  • Scope of Practice
  • Monitor Regulatory Compliance
  • Quarterly Site Assessments
  • Medical Waste Management
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies, evidence-based practices, and patient-centered care models.
  • Monitor clinical performance metrics (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement, and lead patient safety initiatives.
  • Liaison with Employee Health and ensure system vaccine programs are optimized
  • Mentor staff, promote professional growth, and ensure clinical education.
