Vice President, Capital Markets
About The Position
The Vice President of Capital Markets is responsible for sourcing and securing capital for real estate investments, including development and acquisitions. The role builds and manages relationships with lenders and investors, negotiates loan and partnership/joint venture documents, oversees transaction closings, and forecasts an investment’s capital strength and needs. The Vice President contributes to the company’s overall growth vision and strategy, leads investment-level capital processes across multiple divisions, and reports to the CFO. Requirements
- Prior experience sourcing, negotiating, and closing debt for real estate investments on the principal side of a commercial real estate firm.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field and at least 10 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
- Source and structure debt for real estate investments, including development and acquisitions.
- Develop and maintain investor and lender relationships.
- Manage the transaction closing process.
- Review and negotiate loan documents.
- Review and negotiate partnership and joint venture documents.
- Review and approve construction draws.
- Forecast capital needs and oversee capital compliance throughout the investment period.
- Lead and implement internal investment-level capital processes across multiple divisions.
