About The Position

As a farmer-owned co-op with over 100-year history serving the agriculture community in Stanislaus, Merced, Tuolumne and Mariposa counties, Yosemite Farm Credit has a commitment to our region’s agriculture. The Association currently provides lending services to approximately 5,200 customers with loan volume of over $5 billion. Major commodities financed include dairy and almonds, in addition to irrigated field crops, cattle, and walnuts. Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years’ experience managing a portfolio and underwriting
  • Understanding of credit processing and servicing activities, accounting principles and practices, credit analysis procedures, credit administration, monitoring and reporting
  • Advanced computer skills including Windows, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Adobe (PDF), Salesforce, and nCino
  • Must be very attentive to details and possess a high level of accountability for work performed
  • Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing multiple activities
  • Strong decision-making, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to perform certain required duties

Nice To Haves

  • Capital Markets and large loan lending experience is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Developing and servicing a portfolio of purchased loans
  • Originating large agribusiness loans within the Association’s territory
  • Facilitating the sale of originated loans
  • Developing credit-structuring alternatives for large account transactions
  • Analyzing and packaging loans
  • Negotiating terms
  • Building relationships within the marketplace and association partners
  • Performing market analysis, due diligence, and structuring on loans both purchased and originated
  • Assisting in the management of a portfolio of large, complex loans assuring satisfactory loan servicing, covenant and reporting compliance, and risk mitigation
  • Working closely with Credit Administration and loan sales teams to solve the more complex financing needs of members
  • Implementing marketing plans to capitalize on marketing opportunities within designated industry segments
  • Developing, growing, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned
