Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Vice President for its Board Advisory & Opinions group, focusing on the Energy & Infrastructure sector. This role involves providing independent strategic and financial advice to corporations, financial sponsors, and governments. The Board Advisory & Opinions group works closely with other areas of the firm to advise boards of directors and special committees on complex transactions, including understanding strategic considerations, advising on alternatives, valuing complex businesses and securities, and rendering transaction opinions. The group primarily focuses on assisting companies, boards of directors, and special committees in fulfilling fiduciary duties in high-stakes strategic situations, complex transactions, and conflict-prone dynamics, with an emphasis on rigorous financial analysis and valuation. This particular position also focuses on advising financial sponsors in conflict transactions, including continuation vehicles and cross-fund transactions, and works alongside the Corporate Finance team and other industry experts across the firm on high-profile mandates. The dedicated Board Advisory & Opinions practice delivers fairness, solvency, and valuation advisory services across a variety of situations, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures/spin-offs, SPACs/PIPEs, recapitalizations, restructurings, and activist shareholder situations. Vice Presidents drive complex analytics, financial models, and valuation analyses, oversee the work of Associates and Financial Analysts, and interface directly with clients.
