This position is part of the enterprise-wide Medical Office and is based at the IBR (primary) and CBC (secondary) divisions. This role is responsible for providing medical directorship for the technical and clinical operations of the blood center laboratories at IBR and CBC, as well as providing support and guidance to collections staff, other internal stakeholders, and customer hospitals. The position is expected to actively participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and continuous learning. Finally, the position supports management in making informed medical decision and develops and reviews medical oversight and responsibility for technical and medical policies.
