About The Position

We are seeking a Vice President of Ancillary & Support Services to provide executive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for key hospital functions. This role oversees services including Pharmacy, Laboratory, Plant Services, Environmental Services, Clinical Engineering, Supply Chain, and Security. This role will drive continuous improvement in all aspects of service line strategy, safety, service delivery, and cost management, while fostering collaboration across clinical and operational teams. As a member of the Hospital Division leadership team, this role supports a high-reliability environment that advances clinical excellence and exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required
Minimum 10+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience required
Demonstrated leadership of at least four ancillary of the services this role supports (e.g., pharmacy, lab, EVS, plant ops, supply chain, etc.) required

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, or related discipline) preferred
Proven success managing complex, multi-site or system-level hospital operations (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

Foster a culture of collaboration, service excellence, and continuous improvement
Align service line goals with Hospital Division and system-wide priorities
Define and monitor KPIs, benchmarks, and productivity metrics to ensure accountability and results
Partner with COOs and CNOs to optimize patient care delivery and hospital throughput
Drive standardization of policies, workflows, and best practices across all facilities
Lead and develop directors and managers, strengthening leadership capability and accountability
