The Vice President of Advisory Services will lead and be primarily responsible for the Advisory Consulting program within Gresham Smith’s Healthcare Market. This program represents the relationship and early engagement with clients, providing strategic planning, problem definition, and setting direction for future capital projects. The role also leads the Research & Insights Program, both of which drive early client relationships, increase company visibility, and enhance innovative design solutions. As the Vice President of Advisory Services, you will be responsible for leading, building, and nurturing a high-performing team of advisory services experts, recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring team members, strengthening and expanding relationships with internal and external consultants, providing education to internal staff about the value and use of advisory services, and creating and maintaining a collaborative program culture aligned with firm-wide business and cultural goals. You will also organize and drive the vision for the Advisory Services program, creating a new service line within the Healthcare Market, developing and integrating the program with the core architect-engineer service lines, leading strategic transformation efforts focusing on design thinking, functional programming, problem definition, data analytics, operational planning, and change management, managing the implementation of project programming benchmarking in the Vision database, promoting and advancing the market's six healthcare design drivers under Value-Added Design, and monitoring industry trends, anticipating shifts, and adapting the program to meet evolving healthcare and workplace needs. Additionally, you will directly engage clients during early project phases, collaborating closely with the Healthcare Market Executive Vice President (EVP) to align program goals with strategic plans, leading and participating in business development, enhancing Gresham Smith’s reputation as a thought leader, leading team presentations and client interactions, and identifying business opportunities based on emerging healthcare trends and client feedback.
