Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is seeking a Vice President of Academic Programs (VPAP) for its Global Campus (GC). This role provides strategic leadership in the implementation and assessment of learning experiences, focusing on student outcomes for over 200,000 students. The VPAP is responsible for the performance and training of clinical and part-time faculty in online academic programs, and provides direction on key metrics such as faculty and student success, retention, graduation, completion, academic rigor, integrity, and quality. The VPAP leads a team including Schedule Forecasting and Faculty Services, Academic Associate Vice Presidents, Executive Directors, and Deans across graduate and undergraduate studies, overseeing more than 9,000 part-time and full-time employees. This position reports to the Deputy Provost and collaborates with other Vice Presidents to ensure student success in high-quality academic programs. The VPAP also works with peers across traditional ground campus, competency-based, alternative credentials, and international divisions to ensure cohesion across all university learning experiences. SNHU requires readiness to navigate multiple modalities (traditional, online, CBE) and understand policy application across units. The VPAP ensures excellence and accountability at all levels, from themselves to adjunct faculty, and is a key partner in academic procedures, governance, and accreditation. The role demands a commitment to student success and team support, excelling in an environment that values both.
