About The Position

At Brightview Senior Living, the Vibrant Living Assistant helps residents live active, vibrant lives by supporting the planning and delivery of activities and programming. The role involves building relationships with residents and helping create spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming that keeps them engaged and fulfilled. The assistant promotes community events, participates in activities, shares daily happenings through social media, email, and newsletters, and helps set up and break down events. Employees age 21 or older may occasionally drive a company vehicle to transport residents to and from events.

Requirements

• Have an active driver's license in good standing.
• Have a positive attitude and plenty of energy.
• Connect quickly with people and enjoy learning about them.

• Creativity.

Responsibilities

• Get to know residents to support planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming.
• Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
• Help organize and run activities such as games, painting, singing, and music, and participate in them.
• Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities.
• Help set up and break down events and activities.
• If age 21 or older, occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events.
