About The Position

Spring Arbor of Clover Hill is hiring a part-time Lifestyle Assistant for its Lifestyle team. The role assists the Lifestyle Director in providing a social and activity program for residents and families. The program encourages socialization, supports daily living skills, expands personal interests, increases physical activity and education, and helps residents maintain and expand their lifestyles.

The assistant helps coordinate activities, meetings, community-group and volunteer participation, resident transportation, and the monthly Lifestyle calendar. The position may require driving property vehicles. Driving is an essential function and depends on meeting the company’s driving eligibility and insurability standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old, or at least 21 years old to drive the company bus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the state where the vehicle is operated.
• Must have and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with Company Fleet Safety standards and meet company driving eligibility and insurability requirements.
• Must have high energy and enthusiasm, decision-making and problem-solving abilities, planning and organization skills, and rapport-building skills.
• Must pass a criminal background screening.
• Must comply with the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of related experience in an independent living, assisted living, or senior nursing facility is preferred.
• A CDL license is a perk and may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lifestyle Director with conducting and coordinating scheduled activities seven days a week for residents.
• Help prepare, post, and distribute the monthly Lifestyle calendar.
• Facilitate and support monthly resident council meetings and other resident meetings as directed by the Lifestyle Director.
• Help contact community groups and volunteers to participate in activities and Lifestyle programs.
• Assist with scheduling resident transportation.
• Drive property vehicles as needed, subject to company driving eligibility and insurability requirements.
• Assess residents’ social and lifestyle activity preferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
