About The Position
The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA)'s Health Access Eligibility & Enrollment Unit (HAEEU) is seeking a qualified individual to join their dynamic team. This position is part of the Vermont Health Connect (VHC) team, ensuring that Vermonters have the insurance coverage they need. It is also a member of the enrollment and premium processing team, working with premium processors and carriers to ensure Vermonters have the coverage they need. Requirements
- One (1) year or more of experience in a healthcare or health insurance field.
- Proficient in Excel
- Basic Understanding of Transactional Relationships Between Multiple Systems
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management Software
- Knowledge of Medicaid for Children and Adults (MCA) Rules and Regulations
- Time Management

- Pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position, including Vermont and/or national criminal record checks, DMV, and adult and child abuse registry checks (unless a current classified state employee seeking transfer, promotion or demotion, or exercising re-employment rights).

Responsibilities
- Reviewing/Resolving discrepancies relating to VT Medicaid between multiple systems
- Identifying defects and providing solutions
- Utilizing business intelligence tools such as Tableau
- Assisting with Vermont Medicaid Renewals
