About The Position

Concept80 is hiring a US-based VFX Editor for its creative and film studio, with the position based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a hybrid working model. The role reports to the Creative Director and works alongside directors, editors, designers, and producers to create visual effects for films, social content, brand campaigns, and live experiences. Projects may include photoreal CG environments, transitions, and cinematic visual sequences for major sports and entertainment brands. The VFX Editor will create premium visual effects for commercial, branded, and entertainment projects, contributing from concept through final delivery. The role calls for creative collaboration from the earliest stages, high-end compositing and CG integration, motion design, and development of techniques and workflows that support Concept80’s visual style and fast delivery. The successful candidate will stay current with emerging tools, AI workflows, and other technologies that can elevate the studio’s craft. Requirements

Advanced After Effects experience.
Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya.
Experience with Unreal Engine.
Strong compositing skills using After Effects or Nuke.
Skills in motion graphics and title design.
Skills in tracking, keying, and CG integration.
Skills in lighting, rendering, and look development.
Knowledge of colour workflows and finishing.
Experience with AI-assisted creative workflows.
A strong visual eye and ability to judge believability, impact, and effectiveness for social content.
Care for craft and creativity, willingness to collaborate with directors and creatives, ability to work quickly without compromising quality, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
A desire to keep learning tools and techniques and help build a leading creative studio.

Nice To Haves

Houdini experience.
Experience working across Formula 1, Formula E, or motorsport.
Experience in sport, entertainment, advertising, brand films, or social-first content.
Experience with virtual production or AI creative workflows.
Experience with Redshift, Octane, or Arnold rendering.
