About The Position

We are looking for an additional VFD specialist who is experienced in troubleshooting and repairing down to component level. Seeking technicians or engineers who are experienced in troubleshooting and even board swapping with repairing the boards, IGBTs inside the drive. Service provider located in the Murrayville, GA metro area and serving customers nationwide. The facility supports a wide range of industrial equipment, including robotics, electronics, hydraulics and motors, known for its expertise in obsolete items, helping clients extend the life of legacy systems. The company offers free evaluations and rush service, emphasizing responsive support and reliable technical solutions for industrial automation needs. The VFD Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Murrayville, GA., focused on the diagnosis, repair, and testing of variable frequency drives and related industrial automation equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting VFDs, performing repairs down to component-level, and documenting your findings in a clear and precise manner. The specialist is expected to follow company procedures, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to ongoing process improvements in the repair facility.

Requirements

  • Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing down to component level
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and board swapping with repairing the boards, IGBTs inside the drive
  • Strong technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and testing AC/DC drives, and related industrial control equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for automation systems
  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe operation in an industrial repair facility
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related test equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in repair work
