Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience or graduation from a Veterinary Technician program
  • Strong technical and patient care skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Confidence in taking ownership of responsibilities and supporting the team
  • Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
  • Dedication to continued learning and professional development

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician credential preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate patient nursing and technical care
  • Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
  • Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures
  • Educate clients on treatments, preventative care, and patient needs
  • Anticipate the needs of DVM staff to support efficient workflow and teamwork
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
  • Support hospitalized patient care and treatment plans
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with fellow team members
