About The Position

Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our friendly, outgoing team! We’re a five-doctor, AAHA-accredited practice in the heart of Silicon Valley with two unique locations — our main clinic and a FelineVMA Gold Certified, stand-alone cat clinic with dedicated feline-only doctors. We’re proud to be a technician-driven hospital with a collaborative, team-based care model where assistants and RVTs are trusted, supported, and utilized to the fullest. From client education to dentistry and anesthesia monitoring, you’ll have the opportunity to grow in the areas that excite you. We also practice Cat Friendly and Fear Free medicine, and ensure all team members are certified. Requirements

RVT license preferred (but not required)
Experienced veterinary assistants encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Collect patient histories and obtain vitals
Assist with client communication on diagnostics, treatment plans, and at-home care
Perform and assist with diagnostics and treatments
Run in-house lab work and assist with imaging
Support surgical and dental procedures
Assist with anesthesia monitoring and advanced technical tasks
Educate clients with clarity and compassion
Maintain accurate medical records
Help keep the hospital clean, organized, and running smoothly
Practice Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques
