Requirements

Experience as a veterinary assistant or technician
Confidence in patient handling and clinical skills
Strong technical ability (venipuncture, catheter placement, diagnostics)
Knowledge of preventive care, vaccines, and pharmacology
Excellent communication with clients and team
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced setting
Team‑first mindset and a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

Avimark experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Triage patients, take histories, and perform assessments
Support veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
Provide compassionate nursing care from intake to discharge
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
Run in‑house diagnostics (CBC/Chem, UA, fecals, cytology, etc.)
Obtain high‑quality radiographs
Use low‑stress/Fear Free handling techniques
Educate clients clearly and compassionately
Maintain accurate medical records
Support hospital workflow and uphold a positive culture
