About The Position

Garden State Veterinary Specialists Eatontown is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join its emergency and specialty team. The hospital is a multi-specialty referral center providing 24/7 emergency veterinary care and includes board-certified specialists, trained emergency service staff, and a skilled support team. As a teaching-centered hospital, it emphasizes hands-on learning and collaborative patient care. The role involves supporting anesthesia, sedation, and procedures; setting up CRIs and performing medical calculations; placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy; monitoring hospitalized patients; collecting diagnostic samples and maintaining records; and performing radiology positioning and safety practices. The position is located at 246 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07727. The schedule is four days per week, including one weekend day, from 8 AM to 7 PM. Pay is $23–$34 per hour, plus an overnight differential. A sign-on bonus is offered: $2,000 for full-time Veterinary Technicians and $6,000 for Credentialed Veterinary Technicians.

Requirements

At least one year of experience as a veterinary technician.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.

Nice To Haves

Credentialed Veterinary Technician status qualifies for the stated $6,000 sign-on bonus.
