About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Radiology Technician at its Arden Hills, Minnesota hospital. The role performs advanced diagnostic imaging and testing, including X-rays, computed tomography (CT), nuclear imaging, and digital fluoroscopy. The technician also prepares patients for ultrasound, supports procedures and anesthesia, and contributes to mentoring and training coworkers while addressing client concerns with patience and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for ultrasound.
- Safely restrain patients for procedures.
- Place intravenous catheters in peripheral veins.
- Perform phlebotomy.
- Prepare slides for cytology.
- Perform fluoroscopy.
- Perform hands-free digital radiographs.
- Monitor patients during anesthesia or sedation.
- Perform advanced imaging procedures, including CT scans.
- Mentor and train coworkers.
- Address client concerns with patience and empathy.
