Then our clinic is for you! Lantana Animal Hospital is a growing one-doctor, small animal practice. We are located in Flower Mound, Texas. Our team is seeking an energetic, experienced, team-oriented technician to help us provide excellent care to our patients and amazing customer service to our clients. Our clinic is known for providing clients with the highest quality care and customer service possible in a family-oriented environment. We have been nominated and won The Best of Denton Veterinary Clinic for 2024 and 2025, demonstrating our dedication, support, and care for our patients and clients, and ensuring that our team members have a good work-life balance. We have a flexible 4-day week schedule with rotating Saturdays. Candidates should be available to work from 7:30 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday and Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM. Experienced veterinary technicians are encouraged to apply. Technicians with Cornerstone Software experience and who have their LVT/CVT are encouraged to apply; however, we are willing to train the right candidate. Our team members believe in being positive! Responsibilities

  • Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments
  • Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
  • Obtain high-quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards
  • Run in-house laboratory testing (CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, fecals, etc.)
  • Support surgical and dental procedures (prep, monitoring, recovery, instrument care)
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures; maintain accurate records
  • Educate and communicate with clients on patient care, medications, discharge instructions, and preventative care
  • Maintain clean, stocked treatment and exam areas; follow infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient workflow and positive hospital culture
