About The Position
Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) is hiring a per diem veterinary technician to support patient care in a dynamic, specialty-focused environment. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with an experienced team, contribute to exceptional care for patients and their families, and continue professional growth. PVESC is a growing multi-specialty emergency and specialty veterinary practice in Portland, Maine, providing services including Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Dermatology, Neurology, and Cardiology. The organization promotes a supportive, collaborative, team-driven culture in which team members can contribute ideas and grow professionally. Compensation is $25–$38 per hour, commensurate with experience and licensure. Mid-shift, overnight, and weekend shift differentials are offered. Requirements
- Veterinary Technician License or Certification; alternatively, an unlicensed technician or experienced assistant with at least 2 years of experience.
