Animal Doctors of South Tampa is growing! We are looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, 4-doctor hospital in Tampa, Florida . Animal Doctors of South Tampa is a busy, well-established small animal hospital serving the South Tampa community. We are a fast-paced, team-oriented practice that provides wellness care, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics. Our technicians are highly valued and play a hands-on role in patient care, anesthesia, and client education. Requirements
- Veterinary experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to confidently run appointments of all kinds alongside a veterinarian
- Familiarity with common in-house lab machines and testing
- Experience in surgery and anesthesia a plus
- Confident with proper animal handling and restraint
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; rotating Saturdays are required
