About The Position

As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet’s care with confidence and compassion. VCA Alexandria Animal Hospital is a busy 14-doctor AAHA - Accredited practice offering comprehensive veterinary services including preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and urgent care needs. Requirements

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE
Strong technical and clinical skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery
Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
Collect samples and run in-house diagnostics
Place catheters and support patient treatments
Educate clients on care plans, medications, and follow-up
