About The Position

4 Paws Animal Clinic is hiring a full- or part-time Certified Veterinary Technician to provide skilled patient care and exceptional service to clients. The role supports veterinarians with examinations, surgery, anesthesia, recovery, and routine technical duties. The ideal candidate has animal-care and client-communication experience, knowledge of veterinary procedures, and a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with no weekend hours. The listed salary is $18.00–$23.00 per hour, dependent on skills and experience. 4 Paws Animal Clinic is a full-service animal hospital that welcomes emergency cases and provides routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Requirements

Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
Knowledge of common disease states and ability to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential preferred.

Responsibilities

Support veterinarians with patient care, examinations, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
Communicate clearly with clients, including providing care instructions and status updates.
Perform technical duties such as laboratory work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
Keep examination rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
