About The Position

Central Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to provide patient care and support an excellent client experience in a collaborative veterinary practice. The role works closely with doctors, support staff, and leadership, and encourages technicians to use their full skill set across surgical assistance, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and client education. The hospital supports professional growth through mentorship, continuing education, and leadership development. The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands-on veterinary experience and strong technical and client-communication skills. Veterinary Technicians are expected to collaborate effectively, demonstrate professionalism, and contribute positively to team culture. The facility is newly renovated and state of the art, with electronic medical records. The position is full-time and scheduled for the day shift.

Requirements

At least 2 years of hands-on veterinary experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong focus on client service and patient care.
Knowledge of animal handling, common veterinary drugs, and clinical procedures.
Patience, empathy, and professionalism.
High school diploma.

Nice To Haves

Degree in veterinary medicine or a related field.
Veterinary Technician Certification.
