About The Position
Greenville Veterinary Clinic is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant for a full-time position. This role involves providing compassionate nursing care, assisting veterinarians, performing laboratory tests, educating clients, and collaborating with the team to ensure exceptional patient and client care. Requirements
- Previous Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
- Strong patient handling and nursing skills
- Knowledge of preventive care and vaccine protocols
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Team-first mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed

Responsibilities
- Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vital signs, and patient assessments
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Provide compassionate nursing care from intake through discharge
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records
- Perform in-house laboratory testing, including CBCs, chemistry panels, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal testing
- Support daily hospital operations and assist wherever needed
- Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures
- Educate clients on preventive care, treatments, and follow-up recommendations
- Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional patient and client care
