Veterinary technician licensure is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a clinical veterinary setting preferred
- Strong technical skills and confidence in patient care procedures
- Excellent communication and client education abilities
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work scheduled weekday shifts and rotating Saturdays
Nice To Haves
- Veterinary technician licensure is preferred but not required
- Experience with avian and exotic patients is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with surgical procedures, dental cleanings, radiology, and patient treatments
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and anesthesia monitoring
- Communicate with clients regarding patient care, treatment plans, and home care instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records and support efficient hospital workflow
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and team members to provide exceptional patient care
