About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join their Critical Care team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy patient care and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a tentative schedule of Wednesday - Friday, swing shift, though flexibility is required based on hospital needs.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
