About The Position

Paz Veterinary North is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to provide compassionate patient care and support veterinarians in a collaborative, Fear Free environment. The technician will assist with appointments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures while helping create a positive experience for pets and their families. Requirements

• Previous veterinary technician experience.
• Confidence with clinical skills, diagnostics, and patient monitoring.
• Strong communication and client education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and medical procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, intravenous catheter placement, radiographs, and in-house laboratory testing.
• Monitor patients under anesthesia and support safe, effective patient care.
• Use Fear Free handling techniques to reduce stress and anxiety during veterinary visits.
• Educate clients about medications, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
• Help keep the hospital clean, organized, and running efficiently.
