Fremont Animal Care Center is seeking a reliable and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our mixed animal practice. This role involves working with both small and large animals, assisting veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical care, and supporting daily clinic operations. Requirements

• High school diploma
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician preferred
• Certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
• Perform laboratory testing and diagnostics
• Assist in taking radiographs (X-rays)
• Administer medications
• Handle and restrain both large and small animals safely
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Client communication and education
• Assist with emergency and critical care cases
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinic and equipment
